ABOUT YOU
The suitable candidate for this role:
– a member of the Bar Association, with 2+ years of professional experience;
– prior experience in Consumer Protection, Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection, Advertising, Media and Technology matters is useful, not mandatory, but a genuine interest in these sectors is a must;
– robust written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English;
– attention to details and accuracy;
– open-minded and curiosity-driven behavior with a team player mindset.
ABOUT THE ROLE
– you will be part of a team that is successfully guiding clients through the often-complex requirements in the fields of consumer protection and personal data protection while also translating into business-friendly language the locally flavored conditions;
– you can expect to provide legal assistance to some prominent companies that originate from all corners of the globe and are active in industries such as retail, media and entertainment, FMCG, technology, gaming, automotive and many more;
– from a complexity point of view, you will dive right into our team’s work which is equally broad. In the consumer protection and retail field, you will provide legal assistance on product liability, product safety, labelling and advertising, legal requirements for placing products on the domestic market and the specific legal regime in place for various product categories. In the data privacy field, engagements will emerge from matters connected to data-driven transactions and cross-border and domestic regulatory aspects or from the design and implementation of global privacy and security programs.
