WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
– assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and intellectual property filings;
– collaborating with senior lawyers to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements;
– analyzing case law and statutory provisions to provide comprehensive legal opinions to senior attorneys and clients;
– assist expats and digital nomads with immigration procedures;
– handling administrative tasks related to case management, such as maintaining files, tracking deadlines, and organizing documents;
– engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of changes in intellectual property and corporate law;
– collaborating with colleagues within the firm, including other practice areas such as litigation, to ensure a holistic approach to legal matters.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
– recent bar admission or up to 1 year of post-bar experience, with a foundational understanding of Romanian corporate, commercial, labour, and intellectual property law;
– active membership or eligibility for membership with the Romanian Bar. Dual-qualified lawyers will be given consideration;
– proactive and eager to learn, with a commitment to working independently and as part of a team;
– previous exposure to a law firm environment or legal internships, especially in corporate or intellectual property law, is beneficial;
– demonstrated problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude;
– a strong academic background in law, with an interest in pursuing further specialization (LLM) in corporate, immigration, labour, or intellectual property law;
– tech adaptability: Basic familiarity with project management tools, CRMs, Asana, Excel, and other digital platforms.
LANGUAGES
Fully proficient in English and Romanian. Additional European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish) are a plus.
