RADU & ASOCIAŢII | EY Law is recruiting an experienced lawyer for its finance practice.
RADU & ASOCIAŢII | EY Law’s banking and finance practice has been constantly growing in the past years. We have provided regulatory advice to various banks and other financial institutions in a wide range of projects that have given us a clear understanding of the day-to-day concerns of our clients in their relationship with the regulators. In addition, our team has provided assistance in financing transactions for international companies, local entrepreneurs and state entities. The transactions in which we took part ranged from single lender deals to syndicated and club loans while the sizes of the deals varied from approx. EUR 10m to approx. EUR 120m.
Our lawyers work in an integrated manner alongside professionals from other parts of EY’s business, including Assurance, Tax, Transactions and Advisory, from whom there are frequent referrals, to deliver the commercially focused, multidisciplinary, tailored and practical advice needed by our clients.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated finance lawyer to join our busy and friendly team. The relevant candidate should be willing to dedicate his/her efforts and abilities to developing and raising our finance practice to the next level. We expect the person in this role to be highly adaptable to a challenging working environment, be able to handle multiple strong personalities and be comfortable with initiating and participating in business development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
– qualified lawyer with more than 7 years of professional experience in banking and finance;
– excellent English skills;
– good academic background;
– very good knowledge of LMA documentation;
– experience in banking and finance at a reputable law firm;
– experience as an in-house lawyer with a leading banking institution represents an advantage;
– strong client service skills;
– experience of initiating and getting involved in business development activities;
– primarily a team player but also able to work under own initiative;
– excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
