VERNON | DAVID is looking for Lawyers | Corporate & Commercial Law.
Our Corporate Law Department is currently looking for lawyers to fill several positions within our firm. The positions are for experienced attorneys with 4 to 6 years of experience as fully qualified (definitive) lawyer.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The perfect candidates will have a solid understanding of Romanian corporate and commercial law and practices, as well as experience in M&A and complex contracts/transactions. In addition, the candidate will be able to manage his/her time and assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines. Thinking “outside the box” and the ability to handle multiple assignments and matters is highly desired. A proactive approach to client requests and matters is essential.
REQUIREMENTS
– 4 to 6 years of experience as a fully qualified (definitive) lawyer with corporate and commercial law issues and practices (either as an in-house lawyer or with a law firm), a strong understanding of the law in their area of expertise, experience and skills in various transactions, as well as excellent drafting skills (including drafting due diligence reports, relevant contracts and memoranda);
– member of a Bar Association in Romania;
– proficiency in English (both verbal and written);
– good communication and organizational skills
– computer skills (MS Office, Windows OS, Internet Explorer);
– strong motivation, dedication and enthusiasm.
The following will be highly appreciated:
– in addition to excellent experience in corporate and commercial matters and M&A transactions, experience in any of the following areas: competition, real estate, agriculture, banking, insurance, GDPR and/or energy;
– proficiency in other foreign languages (German, Russian or Italian is a plus).
