ABOUT YOU
The suitable candidate for this role:
– fully fledged lawyer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the areas of Consumer Protection, Retail and Commercial;
– robust written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English;
– ability to constructively interact with various practice groups and with all levels of seniority;
– very good attention to details and accuracy;
– open-minded and curiosity-driven behavior with a team player mindset.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As member of the BACIU PARTNERS team, you can expect to:
– provide legal advice to clients on complex and sensitive factual and legal matters regarding various laws and regulations applicable in the area of consumer protection/retail, including new technologies;
– review and prepare legal documents to be used by clients in relation to consumers (including general or specific Terms & Conditions, guarantee certificates), ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
– review and/or prepare commercial agreements governing the activities performed by clients on the Romanian market;
– represent clients in front of national authorities in the fields of relevance;
– participate in task forces of business associations active in consumer protection/trade legislation field (including assistance in drafting bills and amendments for legislative consideration);
– research legislation, as well as business and technological trends that are of interest for the industries where our clients are active.
