JOB TITLE
Lawyer / Legal Advisor
Location – Focsani (min 3 days/week)

JOB PURPOSE
Prepare, edit and review commercial and civil contracts, and other legal documents concluded between the group of companies and other legal entities.
Provide timely and accurate legal advice on all legal issues affecting company’s operations. Supports the management team in identifying and managing legal risks to the group of companies.

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– prepare, edit and review commercial and civil contracts, agreements, financing agreements and related documents (securities, etc), corporate documents and other legal documents concluded between the group of companies and other legal entities;
– participate in the process of contract negotiations, regarding the legal form and related contractual issues, whenever necessary;
– monitor and inform the supervisor on the status of all legal actions, in process, in court;
– monitors the implementation of the special legal clauses of the contracts;
– maintain the relationship with parties providing expertise;
– ensure all contracts and legal documents maintaining, filing and recording;
– advise management team and colleagues regarding legal procedures and practices;
– provide timely and accurate legal advice on all issues affecting the operations of the group of companies.

REQUIREMENTS
– university degree in law; membership with Bar would be an advantage;
– fluency in English language (written and spoken);
– ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and get the job done;
– excellent communication skills, both written and spoken;
– strong attention to details;
– previous experience with contracts and commercial law represents an advantage;
– high ethical standards.
