Vernon | David Romania is currently looking to expand its labor and employment department with one or two associate lawyers (rom: avocat definitiv) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the labor & employment field. Experience in labor litigation is a major plus.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: curious people, quick on their feet, lawyers who want to learn to be the best version of themselves (from a professional perspective 😊) and who would like to be involved in complex transactions and big scale projects (massive restructurings, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, strikes, internal investigations and other cool stuff).
The perfect candidates should have a solid understanding of Romanian law in general and specifically on labor law. In addition, the candidate should be a self-starter and able to manage their time and assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines. Thinking “outside the box” and the ability to handle multiple assignments and matters at the same time are highly desired. A proactive approach to client requests and matters is essential.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
– member of a Bar Association in Romania;
– fluent in English (both verbal and written);
– good communication and organizational skills;
– a curious nature and an innovative and imaginative mind;
– strong motivation, dedication and enthusiasm.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
– minimum 2 years experience in labor/employment work;
– proficiency and ability to work in English;
– team player;
– understanding (or wanting to learn) the business reasons and context of transactions;
– excellent drafting skills (including drafting due diligence reports, relevant contracts and memoranda).
