At LegalHunt, we work closely with Romanian and international clients on a wide range of business law matters — from company formation and commercial compliance to legal support, trademarks, debt recovery, and litigation.
We believe the best way to grow as a lawyer is by working on real projects, getting meaningful guidance, and having the space to learn from both wins and mistakes. That’s why we’re now looking for a Junior Associate (Avocat Stagiar) – declared admitted to the Bar following the September 21st admission exam – who’s curious, proactive, and ready to take ownership of some projects as part of a supportive team.
🧩 WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
You’ll be directly involved in both advisory and litigation matters, including:
– preparing and handling corporate paperwork with the Romanian Trade Register (ONRC);
– supporting clients with day-to-day commercial and corporate legal needs;
– assisting in trademark and IP matters before OSIM and EUIPO (~10% of the work);
– drafting legal documents and client emails — often in English;
– working on debt recovery files (amicable, payment summons, court proceedings, enforcement, insolvency);
– assisting in basic commercial litigation and attending court when needed (~15% of the work);
– interacting with public authorities and third parties in Bucharest (and sometimes beyond);
– managing client requests and communications via LegalHunt’s dedicated client platform.
🧠 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– admitted to the Bucharest Bar;
– previous exposure to ONRC procedures (even through internships) is a plus;
– comfortable working in English (written and spoken, especially legal English);
– good with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
– attention to detail when drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents;
– a balanced mindset: you’re ok with recurring procedures, but curious about new legal topics too;
– patience when dealing with the infamous Romanian bureaucracy;
– openness to emerging fields like AI law, tech law, digital regulations;
– familiarity (or willingness to quickly become familiar) with client management platforms;
– residing in or near Bucharest, with availability for occasional in-person meetings.
