PAVEL, MĂRGĂRIT & ASSOCIATES Romanian Law Firm is looking for one lawyer Senior Associate Lawyer specialized in Litigation and Dispute Resolution cases and a Senior Associate Lawyer specialised in Corporate, Commercial and M&A to work with our team in high value mandates and top clients with abilities and experience in supervising legal teams, managing lawyers activities and to-do’s, involved in preparing proposals, estimation of legal fees and the process of closing leads.

As a Senior Associate Lawyer in Corporate, Commercial and M&A department, you will work on various matters, corporate, commercial and M&A advisory for high profile individuals and corporate clients. You will have significant exposure to clients, playing a leading role on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and experience in international transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions previous experience is a must. Due diligence projects, legal opinions, memorandums, complex commercial contracts is required. You will be involved in managing activities for our firm and you will have well defined objectives and performance appraisal evaluation. As a Senior Associate Lawyer in Litigation department, you will work on various litigation cases, insolvency and bankruptcy files for corporate clients and high-profile individuals, you will be involved in managing activities for our firm and you will have well defined objectives and performance appraisal evaluation.

Experience in cross border transactions and litigation is required.

In our legal team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to major projects in the industry, while working with high caliber clients.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
– from 4 to 12 years across a range of litigation matters in a Romanian law firms environment;
– good communicator in English, advanced juridical writing in English;
– excellent drafting skills, problem solver, loyalty and dedication, integrity;
– commercial thinker, notable experience in dealing with international clients, experience in working with cross border transactions, team player, the ability to prioritize work time across a number of busy matters, a strong client service focus and proper work ethic, good communicator, flexible and adaptable person.

Also, notable experience and knowledge in other areas such as: Real Estate & Construction, Energy, Competition Law, Banking & Finance, Litigation constitutes an advantage.

INSIDE
Candidates graduated the Bar exam are eligible for this position with the firm.
As a Junior lawyer in our team, you will work on various matters, corporate, commercial and M&A and litigation matters. You will have research and discovery activities, drafting petition forms, answering to petitions, drafting and revising contracts, notifications, immigration and citizenship cases, working in the firm legal projects, memorandums, going to Court hearings when decided by the supervisors. You will have the fieldwork tasks, dealing with various institutions and wherever it will be asked to go and this field work may last up to 50% of the daily work time.

Your work will be supervised in our Law Firm and you will have well defined objectives and performance appraisal evaluation.

As a Junior lawyer in our team you will work with high value mandates and top international and Romanian clients.

CERINȚE
– studii superioare de specialitate (eventual completate cu studii de master, cursuri de specializare);
– a susținut examenul de admitere ȋn Barou;
– are experienţă în consultanţă juridică civilă şi comercială;
– abilităţi de comunicare şi de negociere, spirit de echipă, flexibilitate, eficienţă şi responsabilitate, atenție la detalii;
– utilizează cu ușurință construcții gramaticale complexe și vocabular bogat în limba română (scris și vorbit);
– limba engleză avansat (scris/vorbit);
– persoană organizată, dornică să înveţe lucruri noi.

RESPONSABILITĂŢI
– activităţi de consultanţă juridică şi de reprezentare în instanţă (în materie civilă şi comercială);
– studierea temeinică a dosarelor încredinţate;
–  documentarea juridică în vederea formulării acţiunilor în instanţă;
– urmărirea modificărilor legislative;
– redactarea de cereri de chemare în judecată, note scrise, concluzii, etc;
– întocmirea dosarelor pentru instanţă;
–  depunerea dosarelor în instanţă;
– depuneri/ridicări cereri în instanţă şi la diverse instituţii;
– reprezentare ȋn fața autorităților;
– revizuire contracte comerciale;
– îndeplinește orice formalitate la Oficiul Registrului Comerțului;
– activități administrative.
