LUCU & ASSOCIATES is a business law firm that celebrated 15 years of activity this February. We advise exclusively legal entities — domestic and international — across industries such as HoReCa, construction, real estate development, manufacturing, market research, tourism, and private education. Our work involves established companies, international brands, and entrepreneurial businesses requiring ongoing legal support.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
– has solid experience (8+ years) in civil and commercial litigation;
– is also comfortable providing day-to-day legal advice to corporate clients;
– is proficient in English.

We are a team of five lawyers, so this is not a narrow litigation-only role. Litigation represents approximately 25% of our activity. The rest involves contract drafting, legal advisory work, and ongoing support for business clients across several industries.
Some cases are complex and strategic. Others are straightforward. We are looking for someone who approaches both with the same level of professionalism, rigor, and accountability.

– fixed, stable monthly compensation aligned with experience;
– a respectful working schedule (Fridays end at 3 PM);
– primarily Bucharest-based litigation (no constant travel);

Therefore, we are looking for a lawyer to practice in our Banking & Finance Bucharest team with anywhere from 5 to 6 years of experience at a law firm, with preference for any or all of the following skills sets/practice:
– have a law degree from a reputable Romanian university and is member of the Bucharest Bar;
– have solid knowledge of civil and company law;
– have practical experience of least 5 years and up to 6 years at an international or major domestic law firm;
– is driven and finds motivation in working for international clients and global law firms and has commercial thinking;
– curiosity and interest in continuous learning and development;
– with attention to detail, teamwork and great communication skills, wants to work in a team that is praised for their consistently high quality of work; and
– very good English drafting and speaking skills.
