We are looking for an Associate Lawyer to strengthen our Real Estate Team in our Bucharest Office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Real Estate team at a top‑tier international law firm as part of the group’s continued growth. Our team is a trusted advisor to leading investors, developers, and occupiers across the CEE/SEE region, providing comprehensive legal support on complex real estate transactions and developments. We also advise clients from a wide range of industries on strategic real estate matters, supporting their expansion, investment, and asset management needs while navigating the legal and commercial challenges of the real estate market.
LEGAL FIELD: Real Estate
REQUIREMENTS FOR A RE LAWYER POSITION
Education:
– degree from an accredited law school in Romania;
– certification as a qualified lawyer with a Bar Association in Romania;
– active membership in good standing with the Bar Association.
Experience:
– at least 3 years of experience as a lawyer/associate in the Real Estate field;
– relevant experience in real estate due diligence, including title review and identification of legal risks;
– hands-on involvement in land and property acquisitions;
– strong experience in drafting and negotiating real estate‑specific agreements, such as SPAs, lease agreements, easements, and related documentation.
Skills:
– strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
– excellent written and verbal communication skills;
– Romanian and English legal drafting expertise;
– ability to interpret legal documents and regulations.
Personal Qualities:
– detail-oriented and capable of synthesizing large volumes of information;
– ability to work independently and as part of a team;
– adaptability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Language Skills:
– Fluency in Romanian and English.
