MAIN TASKS

LEGAL
– works within the Romanian Legal Department and assists with all legal matters as instructed;

PRIVACY

– plans and deploys a local Privacy and data protection program;
– provides or coordinates the roll out of Privacy and data protection training in accordance with agreed training plan in company to local employees on regular and ad hoc basis and ensures tracking of participations;
– assists with internal and external audits and inspections, requests for access and correction of personal data or complaints, if the case;
– builds and maintains knowledge about local applicable laws and regulations and assesses impact of changes in laws to Privacy and data protection program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOW-HOW AND SKILLS
– law university degree in Romanian law;
– meets local legal license requirements; admission to Romanian law association/bar or equivalent (e.g. legal counsel);
– experience in civil law, corporate, contractual law;
– experience in competition, public procurement, regulatory is a plus;
– experience in privacy is mandatory;
– minimum 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience of legal practice advice, as an in-house counsel of an internationally/global acting enterprise or law firm;
– good working level of experience in one or more general or speciality law practice areas acquired through being a good resource in-house or in health industry or law firm environment;
– experience in handling legal privacy matters and managing a privacy program.

Avocat in-house, membru al Baroului Bucureşti sau Consilier juridic, membru al Colegiului Consilierilor Juridici Bucureşti, cu experienţă profesională între 4 şi 6 ani

CERINŢE MINIME
– experienţă şi excelente cunoştinţe de legislaţie în dreptul comercial, civil, inclusiv procedură civilă;
– limba Engleză – nivel avansat;
– atenţie, seriozitate, orientare spre rezultate, cu simţ de răspundere capabil să lucreze eficient;
– bune abilităţi de analiză şi sinteză.

DESCRIEREA JOBULUI
– redactare documente juridice (opinii legale, cereri de chemare în judecată, întâmpinări, notificări, adrese, hotărâri A.G.A., împuterniciri etc);
– redactare şi revizuire contracte (civil, comercial);
– efectuarea formalităţilor în faţa autorităţilor (Registrul Comerţului; OSIM; ANPC etc);
– asigurarea reprezentării societăţii în instanţe;
– asigurarea suportului legal departamentelor societăţii.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Associated Lawyer to work as part of a dynamic legal team. The role will involve working with both long term and new clients on a full range of interesting commercial & corporate issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of our team your main duties will include
– day to day responsibilities such as drafting, reviewing, analyzing and negotiating various commercial agreements, including but not limited to Lease agreements of commercial premises, Distribution Contracts, Sale – Purchase Agreements, Design and Build Contracts, confidentiality agreements;
– counseling clients in connection with their contractual relationships with commercial partners;
– drafting documents on various matters pertaining to the client companies’ current activities, as well as legal opinions on specific legal matters.

You’ll also be required to take on other challenging projects which may include document drafting, policy or process development, legal research and other ad-hoc legal work from time-to-time.

QUALIFICATIONS
– law University degree required;
– in-depth knowledge of contract law; experience between 3 years to 5 years;
– excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to improve existing templates;
– fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role;
– excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
– ability to work autonomously with initiative and confidence and also as part of a team, precise attention to detail.
